We Breathe Yoga is a space rooted in living tradition.

The Pranayama taught here comes through an unbroken lineage: from Gitananda, one of the great masters of the tradition, through my beloved teacher who was his direct student, and into this studio. In a world where breath-work has become a wellness trend, what is offered here is something rarer: a method with depth, structure, and roots.

Classes are small, community-based, and built around the breath. Whether you come for the Sunday Pranayama practice, the early morning Yoga and Pranayama, or the monthly Restorative and Sound Healing evenings, you are welcome exactly as you are.

All classes are offered both in person and online, the studio has always had a wider reach than its four walls.

In her introduction to Pranayama, Sara has shown me that sitting still and listening to my breath is harder and often more rewarding than movement. It’s been quite a revelation… I enjoy the way Sara is able to sketch out a complex system of thought and practice in a clear, accessible way. She guides you through the practice gently, delivering precise instructions in a calm, encouraging way. She has been a great guide on this inward journey and, as a novice, I have found her teaching empowering. Highly recommended.

Sitting at a Pranayama session with Sara, you feel your body is working in new and unexpected ways, and yet, thanks to her  guidance the discovery feels smooth and effortless. Breathing is so deeply connected to our core being. I am grateful to Sara for showing me how to access it.
